The Cybertongue© is an innovative food testing system, that allows users to get laboratory-quality test results within minutes! It uses ultrasensitive and specific protein-based biosensors and combines these building blocks to achieve high levels of quality & sensitivity. This has two major benefits, firstly, producers no longer need to waste time sending samples to an external laboratory, then wait days for a confirmed result. Secondly, the costs saved, both directly and logistically due to rapid results are major advantages of this product.
But how was this developed? Well, the current Cybertongue© is the 3rd version of the original design, having been simplified and streamlined. Its sleek, minimalist design belays its high-performance capabilities. Not only does the Cybertongue© offer top of the line results and analysis in a simple design, but the workflow and process of inserting a sample, and generating results have been streamlined and simplified! Results are displayed and read on the Cybertongue© device.
The main current use-case is a test that allows users to screen out raw milk containing high levels of AprX, however, more tests are continually being added. In the pipeline is tests for bacillus proteases, plasmin, trace lactose and food allergens.
