CLEAN EDGE is a new class of antimicrobial light technology which safely sanitises space and surfaces while continuing to provide lighting. Using a safe LED light in the visible spectrum its continuous sanitisation can be used in all areas of our daily lives – hospitals, retail, schools, hotels and in our workplaces and homes.

Bacteria, virus and germ microorganisms are a global health concern. The recent COVID-19 pandemic has caused millions of deaths, new disease strains appear daily and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) is now one of the top 10 global public health threats facing humanity according to the World Health Organisation.

CLEAN EDGE uses VIOLEDs lighting, a patented technology also used in NASA’s space station for sterilization management VIOLED technology was co-developed by the Korean company Seoul Viosys, the number 1 market share leader for UV LEDs with over 4000 patents and SETi US based company and globally recognised developer of UV LED products.

 

How Clean Edge works

Unlike UV-C that directly destroys cells, Clean Edge uses 405nm light which targets compounds called porphyrins and causes a reaction which kills germs from the inside out.

 

Clean Edge kills germ cells in 4 stages:

Unlike UV (Ultraviolet) light that directly destroys microorganisms, the CLEAN EDGE 405nm light ray targets naturally occurring compounds called porphyrins.

Clean Edge does not use UVC

For decades UVC light has been commonly used to sterilise areas particularly in the healthcare and water industries. UVC is highly effective however is not suitable as an everyday solution due to the damage to human skin and eyes.

 

Just one light can cover 25㎡

You can turn the standard light on or the sanitisation light on or both at the same time. Timers and sensors can be applied on request.

 

Eliminates bacteria, virus and germs +99%

Clean Edge has been tested against 8 common microorganisms, accross 5 accredited laboratories across the world which showed to effectively reduce germs down by 99%. The distances and times the product was tested against varies and all test details can be shared through enquiries.

Clean Edge is approved according to the Electrical Regulatory Authorities Council (ERAC) & Australian Communication & Media Authorities (ACMA) standards.ERAC & ACMA are the official governing organisations for electrical products and the use of the RCM safety mark in Australia.
