Lumitester Smart: An Award-Winning Invention

The Lumitester Smart received the Invention Implementation Achievement Award and the Commissioner of Japan Patent Office Award for its innovative design at the 2024 National Commendation for Invention. Since 1919, this awards ceremony has been hosted by the Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation to highlight inventions that exhibit originality, render distinguished services to their industry, and have contributed immense advancement to the world of technology. The idea behind its design is to create a luminometer with “friendly design”, “high operability” and “advanced detection technology”. The compact size and the rounded edges of the Lumitester Smart allow users to operate the device easily and comfortably. The Lumitester Smart also has flat surfaces, making it easily storable and allowing dirt and smudges to be cleaned off of the device with ease. Furthermore, all functions are integrated into three capacitive touchscreen buttons that have sensitivity and responsiveness.
